Sunday School classes for Jr. High (7th & 8th grade) and Sr. High (9th - 12th grade) meet 9:00-9 :30am.
Jr. High Youth serve as acolytes during the 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am worship services.
Youth who are trained in nursery policies may be scheduled as nursery assistants on Sunday mornings.
Confirmation classes are held for 7th grade youth and above. Call the office for details.
The "Seekers in Sneakers" program begins with a catered meal at 6pm.
All are welcome. A donation toward the cost of the meal is appreciated.
Jr. United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) meets from 6:30 to 7:45pm. Youth in 7th and 8th grades participate in activities designed to nurture their faith and build relationships with one another, with a team of adult sponsors, and with God.
Sr. United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) also meets from 6:30-7:45pm. Youth in grades 9-12 participate in activities designed to create community, promote service, relate contemporary issues to the Bible, and promote healthy lifestyles for young adults, meeting with a team of adult sponsors.
Jr. and Sr. High youth volunteer to help with Vacation Bible School by guiding children between classes, assisting teachers, and monitoring small groups of children on the afternoon field trips.
An annual 5-7 day Youth Mission Trip is taken to a different location each year. Past trips include San Francisco and Kansas City. Youth work throughout the year to earn points as well as meet expenses required to make this trip. The purpose of the trip is to understand opportunities for service, grow in faith as individuals and as a community, and strengthen the bonds among the youth.
