April 12 Message
Doing Our Share for Creation Care

Doing Our Share for Creation Care

Composting at BUMC

We are so grateful that through the generosity of a designated gift we are able to offer a composting solution - not only to the people of Broadway, but to our neighbors as well.

We have some gallon-ish sized ice cream containers with lids for placing food scraps you can pick up and take home. You can bring your collected compost to the church as often as you visit. A couple of rollaway bins from Hillsides Solutions are available in the church parking lot. They are located on the south side of the building near the dumpster.

  • Pick up a bucket for your food scraps, napkins, paper towels,
    compostible plates, etc.
  • Bring the filled bucket back to the church and empty it in one of the
bins on the south side of the building.
  • Rinse and repeat.

This Sunday Johnny Lynn (8:30) or Brian (10:30) will be available after worship to share more information.
