A Lighter Shade of Grey- Tuesday, November 18, 2025 By now, I’m sure you have heard about the TikTokker who created a recent social experiment. At the time when SNAP payments were not received, the woman called a number of churches, mosques, temples, and synagogues impersonating a young mother who needed formula to feed her hungry baby. She even had a recording of a crying child playing as she placed the call. She later shared her data on TikTok. The video has since gone viral. A Light in the DarknessA Sermon Series for Advent - Sunday, November 30, 2025 Before we arrive at Christmas, I’d like to invite you to take a pause. A deep breath. A moment of stillness. It is such a cliche to talk about how busy the “Christmas” (read: Advent) season is, and yet cliches often become cliches because they bare some truth which comes up again and again. I’ve thought about this phenomenon, prayed about it, a great deal throughout my life as a pastor, even as I have contributed to it, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we try to pack so much into this, the darkest season of the year.

Advent Taizé WorshipWednesday, December 3, 2025 We invite you to join us for dinner at 6 PM in the Fellowship before the service. Taizé is a meditative, contemplative worship style combining repetitive, scripture-based songs, periods of silence, and readings to create a prayerful atmosphere during the Advent season. Its key elements include simple, chanted refrains repeated multiple times to create a meditative atmosphere and foster a sense of peace and unity. Candle lighting will be available to offer a space for those for whom the holidays may be painful or difficult. For more infomation visit:
