Before we sing together, we are hosting a training.
Join us in community on Sunday, February 8 at 2pm for an initial training at Broadway United Methodist Church in Council Bluffs. We’ll have tea and snacks to share. We’ll start with the official Singing Resistance Launch! Zoom training followed by a group conversation on how our local group moves and plans together.
Many roles are needed and this is the type of support we need! It’s a reminder that we cannot do anything alone. Some roles include…
Pod leader/s (we’ll explain!)
Song leader/s - These folks guide others in song
Action planner/s - These folks plan the actions
Community nurturer/s - These folks are about connecting as a community
Gathering facilitator/s - These folks plan our gatherings
Communicator/s - These folks get the word out
